National Church Awards Visit Your Finalist Day: how to visit a winning church

On Saturday 18 November, many of our winners and finalists from the National Church Awards will be open!

Their doors will be unlocked, ready for you to visit and explore their beautiful buildings.

With 45 churches and chapels – spread right across the UK – why not pick one (or more) to visit?

We’ve created a handy map, so you can find a church near you to explore. Simply click on the icons for more information about the church.

We are adding to this page as more finalists confirm their opening times. Please keep checking back.

Celebrating and sharing the good news

“There’s something about churches that makes me want to go inside and explore what’s going on.”
Hugh Dennis, comedian, actor and co-host of the National Church Awards.

Churches have an amazing story to tell. From their beautiful buildings to the volunteers that are keeping them well maintained and open for all. The National Church Awards is a celebration of the good that churches, and their buildings, do.

Do join with us and celebrate these wonderful local churches by visiting them on Saturday 18 November. And don’t forget to let us know how you get on by sharing your photos with us on social media by using the #NationalChurchAwards
