Coronavirus

Our staff are working from home but our work continues.

Published:

Following the announcement from HM Government on Monday 16 March, National Churches Trust staff are now working from home. Staff can be contacted via email and by telephone in the normal way. Contact details can be found on our staff pages.

Non essential internal meetings have been postponed and where possible meetings with external partners are taking place using the internet or by phone.

We are also postponing any church tours or other events involving our Friends and members of the public until such time as it is considered safe to hold them.

If you have any questions please contact us at info@nationalchurchestrust.org

Grants

The coronavirus may well be having an impact on your church in terms of use for services and other activities. The main denominations have information about what to do on their websites.

If you are concerned about the impact the outbreak could have on your grant offer or grant applications, feel free to contact us by email: grants@nationalchurchestrust.org. Please also see the FAQs we have put together here.

MaintenanceBooker

The Maintenance Booker service remains available for churches to use although we recognise that many churches will currently be closed. If urgent work is required or you wish to book future maintenance jobs these can still be booked through the website. If you have any questions regarding jobs currently booked through the service please contact the customer service team on  0330 058 3951 or by email to enquiries@maintenancebooker.org.uk

Church visiting

If you are visiting a church, please follow precautions related to good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene, and where necessary contact with other people. Many churches have made hand sanitisers available and these should be used.

Although it may not be possible to visit churches in person, our ExploreChurches website makes it possible to discover over 4,000 churches virtually. Do take a look and find some churches you may want to visit in the future.
