Fascinating church in picturesque village.

This church is reputed to have the best broached spire in England and houses two full size effigies dating from the 13th century of the knight Sir Lambert de Trikyngham and his wife, created in 1280.

Thruxton church has been at the heart of village life for over 850 years, many of the church’s treasures are in the form of tombs and effigies of some of the Lords and Ladies of the Manor.
