Crosby Granger Architects
Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Yorkshire
We are a down-to-earth, personable architectural practice, focusing on the repair of historic buildings and structures, including churches, castles, stately homes and ruins, alongside new designs and exciting developments in historic or sensitive areas. We seek to repair and preserve the historic built environment, while ensuring viability and sustainability through new design development where appropriate. In a consultancy role, we specialise in the assessment of historic buildings and structures, giving advice and recommendations on their current condition, options for repair and development and, importantly, protection of their ‘sense of place’. We are familiar with all planning systems, Listed Building Consents, Ancient Monument consent and Faculty consents for churches. Chloe Granger, Director and AABC Accredited architect sits on Carlisle DAC, and is also a SPAB technical advisor.
