Our Maintenance Grant Programme is currently open
Our Maintenance grant programme is a pilot programme, in partnership with the Pilgrim Trust, offering awards of between £500 and £3,000 to encourage churches to act on small, urgent maintenance issues and repairs to church buildings, as identified in a recent Quinquennial Inspection Report, condition survey or report by a gutter management contractor, or MaintenanceBooker Maintenance Plus Survey report (find out more here), and costed between £1,000 and £10,000.
Proposed works must be to the main church building, and applicants must be able to show they have already raised 50% of the total repair costs, and to have obtained two quotes for the works.
You can find out more about our Maintenance Grants by watching the video below.
(The video states that only listed buildings are eligible - this is no longer the case. Thanks to additional funding we can now consider unlisted buildings under this programme.)
For the guidance note, containing eligibility and scoring criteria, follow the link below. The next deadline for applications will be 26 September 2018.
You can also explore our website for further information, for instance on Regular Maintenance or the Building Advice pages for information on other funding sources and local fundraising including Friends Groups.
