C13, with C14, C15 and C18 alterations and additions. Restored C16 or C17, late C19 and early C20. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and parapet. Roof is supported on C15 corbels of carved beast and human heads. C16 and C17 stained glass in north chancel windows. C14 representation of St. John the Evangelist in east window of north aisle, with further C15 and later pieces. Further later glass in north windows. C16 fragments in south window of c.1500. Also an early C14 tomb.

The project involves the fitting of code 6 rolled lead to 24 bays of the north aisle of the church roof (following a lead theft from the roof in October 2015) and any internal decorations etc consequent upon the ingress of rainwater.

Top tips from feedback:

- Careful planning right from the start, not only with authorities, contractors and architect but also liaison with neighbours and users of the church to make sure people know what is going on throughout the project.
