Roxton Congregational Church
1808, timber framed with wattle and daub infill and a hipped thatched roof. Synonymous in style with the cottage ornee style. School room and vestry in wings to N and S, central chapel with gallery and side arcade. The building is a superb example of early C19th Nonconformist architecture. The present thatched roof is failing and is to be completely stripped and re-thatched in water reed with a sedge ridge.
