All Saints

All Saints Church was built over the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries and was considerably extended during the late 19th century by Woodyer. Major restoration work was carried out in the 1990s, costing £250,000. This included work on the steeple, extensive repair and replacement of tiles, internal walls (plaster and lime) and floors.

In October 2020 a portion of plaster (roughly 2 ft sq) fell from the lathe and plaster ceiling at the West end of the North aisle. In adjacent areas the plaster is cracked and may drop off. The repairs will replace the roof tiles and corresponding internal plaster.
