The power of place that this building exudes is remarkable. The spare interior is cloister like and its setting in the Burton Dassett Country Park is second to none.

The church is built into a hillside, so the climb inside from tower end to altar is considerable.

On the walls are paintings from several centuries that have been restored. The stone altar in the Lady Chapel was wisely smuggled away in anticipation of the Reformation and buried for safekeeping.

The pillars have intriguing carvings, among them a Green Man and several strange beasts chasing each other around the stonework.
