The 15th century St Mary's stands on a hilltop at the centre of a very beautiful village in Suffolk as a magnificent landmark in architectural splendour.

Famous for the Morgan family of the Morgan Motor Company, Henry Morgan was the rector from 1871.

Designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield, the prolific Victorian church architect, St Andrew’s is remarkable for its wall paintings which are generally in very good condition.

St Mary's is built of the local, golden Ham stone, and has features from the 12th century to the 20th.
