Medieval church in the picturesque village of Long Preston on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales in the Ribble Valley with a fine collection of stained glass windows by Jean-Baptise Capronnier.

With its origins as a Saxon chapel, the church we see today with its 12th century cancel, is constructed of one building inside another, joined only at the windows.

The church is, at the highest point in the village, is on the site of the original church nave and has since been extended and rebuilt.

Seion Chapel was opened in 1878.The designer was Richard Owen of Wall, Liverpool and is fairly typical of nonconformist chapels of that period.
