This tiny, plain stone roofed building is about 11 feet by 8 feet, with walls two feet thick and, under the altar, St Trillo's holy well.
It is set in its own carefully maintained grounds, which provides a lovely green space for the residents of Colwyn Bay to relax in. The church has a fascinating history dating back to 1872. Inside the building is beautiful, and definitely has the wow factor with stone arches, stained glass windows and a high wooden roof. Our traditional organ is also of great interest.
The church has a wonderful history. The first church on our site was built in 1872 and was an iron church built in three stages, the nave, aisles and transept then the chancel in 1894 and the tower in 1911. The western narthex was added as a war memorial.
It provides worship, pastoral care and a promotion of Christian values to residents and visitors alike. A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits anyone who attends its services and events. We are a dementia friendly church.
