CBG Consultants are a strong, independent practice of building services consultants with offices in Oxford, London, Manchester, and Cambridge. Our services include a wide range of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions specialising in sustainability, building physics and Passivhaus. In 2023, we established a specialist lighting consultancy division with the acquisition of Light Perceptions Ltd, so that we can offer our clients a more comprehensive service. We specialise in maximising the efficiency of buildings, through optimising fabric with efficient mechanical, electrical, and lighting design solutions.
Our process typically begins with a comprehensive briefing and audit, allowing us to gain a thorough understanding of our clients' objectives, as well as the practical and aesthetic considerations associated with the building in question. With 70 staff, we are one of the largest independent sustainability-led M&E practices in the UK. We have extensive experience in historic buildings and conservation projects and provide low energy and net zero masterplans. We work in historic and new buildings of all types from feasibility through to implementation and asset maintenance in all sectors.
