Today the interior has been tastefully reordered to make it suitable for a wider range of activities for people of all ages. There are church and community activities most days of the week and the church is opened regularly for viewing. 

Holy Trinity, a Grade II* listed building was built privately as a second church for the town. Huddersfield was growing rapidly due to the Industrial Revolution. The building, designed by Thomas Taylor is a tall church in the simple Gothic style of the early 19th century.

The church has a large burial crypt.

Holy Trinity was extensively reordered in the 1880s and again in 1995, retaining the best of its historic and architectural features. Today the interior is tastefully reordered to make it suitable for a wider range of activities for people of all ages. There are church and community activities most days of the week and the church is opened regularly for viewing.
