A Grade II listed church built for the mill workers of Trowbridge.

St John is situated at the top of Lemon Street in Truro, built in 1828 as a simple rectangular block with a whitewashed interior and balconies on the north and south sides.

In a small, very rural hamlet, Trusley's formal little church is a surprise, being built of red brick in the classical style and dating from 1713.

Opened in 1930 by Archbishop Downey of Liverpool, who described the building as ‘a miracle of beauty’.
