We're hiring: Head of Policy and Public Affairs

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum

Duration: Permanent 

Hours of Work: Full time (35 hour week)

About the role

The future of church buildings is the biggest heritage crisis facing the UK. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of Policy and Public Affairs to join our team in Westminster to help bring this issue to the forefront of the agenda.

This pivotal role will shape and deliver high-impact policy and public affairs campaigns that show the value of church buildings, and push for more support so that they can stay open and in good repair. We are looking for someone who can ensure our policy positions are evidence-based, rooted in lived experience, and influential at the highest levels. You will have vast experience of and be comfortable liaising and maintaining relationships with parliamentarians, their officers, advisers and civil servants, as well as putting on events and briefings in the Houses of Parliament, which attract media attention and influences the UK Government and the heritage sector.
