The present stone church dates back to Norman times whilst other elements date from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries. The chancel has Early English lancet windows, some of which contain fragments of 14th and 15th century coloured glass. Inside there is a remarkable set of medieval bench ends with poppyheads formed by rabbits, hounds or grotesques.
