Standing in a pleasantly rural setting on the edge of the Weald, with its 13th century tower and shingled broach spire overlooking the River Adur.

St Michael & All Angels was built in 1835 and donated as ‘a gift to the people of the place’ by the Lord of the Manor, Sir Thomas Dyke Acland.

Holy Trinity was built shortly before World War I. It is 14th century Gothic in style, with a sandstone tower topped by an elegant spire.

A beautiful church with clerestory window and lovely stained glass in light and bright building; our beautiful churchyard is a haven for wild life.

St Peter's was completed in 1879 to a design by GE Street as the founding mother church of Bournemouth.

The churchyard has something of the character of a village green because of the array of cottages that overlook it, including Margaret Cottages, once the parish workhouse.

Designed by London architects JER and CP Cutts, the building contains work by Sir Ninian Comper, Martin Travers and Sir William Milner & Romilly Craze.
