We are an enthusiastic community of people, who are constantly learning what it means to love the Lord and to share His love with the world around us.

The church dates from Saxon times and stands at the centre of the village as it has done for centuries.

A large grade I listed parish church dating from the 1300s with a rich heritage; a fine hammer beam nave roof, colourful kneelers, medieval stained glass, and much more.

A Grade I listed church built in 1150 with a Norman tower and north door, which features an unusual sharply arched head and rare examples of beakheads and zigzags.

The earliest mention of a church on this site is in Domesday where it is listed as belonging to the Bishop of Bayeux.

We are St Andrew's, Thornhill Square and Church on the Corner, two churches (one with a gorgeous garden) at the heart of a very diverse, thriving urban community which is reflected in our congregations, who are also busy, active and very welcoming.

St Mary's is the civic church of Barnsley and provides a place of worship, peace and quiet in the town centre.
