St John's began life as a Norman church, of which the central tower and west wall, with its typical Norman door, remain.

A visitor to this 12th century beautiful church can see many different architectural styles with constant reminders of the past in the two transepts and the chancel, richly endowed to celebrate the loves of lost ones.

The church of St Mary the Virgin lies at the centre of an ancient parish within an Anglo-Saxon royal estate and on the site of a late Anglo-Saxon minster from 950 or earlier.

A beautifully proportioned cruciform church, St Peter’s has been serving the parish of Stanton Lacy since the early 11th century.

In 2019 the church celebrated its 150th Anniversary continuing the worship started in Saxon times.

St Stephen's is home to a friendly church known for its warmth and hospitality, offering an open and inclusive approach to all and welcome parishioners, both new and old.

This small church, which is a haven for peace and quiet, is situated beside the Wayfarers’ Walk, a short walk from Hinton Ampner and its National Trust property and church.
