Grace Church Kidderminster stands at the heart of the Sutton Park estate in Kidderminster and has served as a constant presence in the local community for over seventy years. Originally built in the 1950s, the building was constructed using a number of reclaimed bricks following the Second World War, giving it a character shaped by resilience, resourcefulness and local history. The original structure was designed around a central rectangular chapel, which continues to be the main gathering space for worship today, seating approximately 100–110 people.

Over the years, the building has evolved to meet the needs of a growing community. Around 30 years ago a foyer and welcome lobby were added, along with improved toilet facilities, creating a more accessible and inviting entrance to the church. A further extension was completed approximately 20 years ago, providing a rear hall equipped with a kitchen, extra toilets, and underfloor heating. This space has become a well-used asset for both the church and the local area, hosting children’s groups, toddler sessions, youth events and activities for older residents. Alongside Sunday worship, the building has welcomed exercise classes, community gatherings and regular social events, ensuring the church remains a hub of local life. The church has a small garden at the front.

A programme of redecoration and care has been recently completed, including a new roof installed in 2025, helping to preserve the building for future generations. With parking for around twenty vehicles and flexible interior spaces, Grace Church continues to serve the people of Kidderminster as both a place of worship and a valued community resource.
