We have come full circle - built as a place of worship in 1822, returned to a place of worship in 2025.

Founded in the 7th century and hidden deep in the Berwyn mountains, the tiny church at St Melangell’s is home to the earliest surviving Romanesque shrine in northern Europe.

Built between 1851 and 1853 at a time when the town was rapidly expanding and prosperous, the church is vast, with a magnificent tower with octagonal spire reaching to some 220 feet high, a landmark which can be seen for many miles around. 

Our chapel was built in 1797 to fulfil a promise to John Wesley, who preached here in 1786.

Burial place of saints, an ancient and sacred pre Christian site, the 2,000 year old yew trees at St Winifred's are some of the best in north Wales .

St Mary’s church stands on the site of much older places of worship, the first documented place of worship here was established by Sir Robert de Rockley in 1412 as a private chantry chapel.

St James is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Idridgehay in Derbyshire.

The chapel is a very attractive but simple building built in 1728.

Surrounded by fields, walk in Jane Austen's footsteps at the pretty 12th century village church - inspiration for Delaford in Sense and Sensibility - much unchanged since her stay here in 1806 where her cousin was rector and said to be the model for Mr Collins.
