The Cathedral is a 13th century church set in the heart of the Royal Burgh of Dornoch, seeking to serve the wider community in which it lies along with its sister churches.

St Faith's was rebuilt twice in the 19th century but still contains evidence of the original early 13th century church and in 2018 the bells were rehung for full circle ringing after 70 years of silence.

St Illtyd’s is one of the oldest Catholic Churches in Wales, established in 1846 soon after Catholic Emancipation.

Early English architecture with a window to Ralph Vaughan Williams who was born in the village and wrote the hymn tune Down Ampney.

The church was largely rebuilt in 1859 and 1860 but has a 15th century tower, with a Tudor window and doorway.

Regarded as one of England's 1000 best churches, St Michael & All Angels is easily overlooked but visitors would do well to stop and enjoy the remarkable peace of this thin place in the heart of Swaledale.

The church dates back to Saxon times and was largely rebuilt between 1864 and 1867, it features 12th century herringbone masonry on the south wall, rather unique in this part of the country.
