The long history of St Mary's opened a new chapter during the construction of Rutland Water when it became linked with the neighbouring church of St Matthew.

St Helen’s is a 14th century church (Grade II* listed) at the centre of the small village of Plungar in the Vale of Belvoir.

Perhaps the most beautiful of the great English cathedrals, it was erected between the 12th and 15th centuries and is a significant Somerset landmark.

Bethania chapel was first built in 1832, and has seen numerous rebuilds and enlargements.

Its tall, splendid 15th century west tower is surely the main reason why this outstanding parish church is quite often mistaken for Wells Cathedral.

The whole church is, in a way, a memorial to the Watts Russell family whose seat is at nearby Biggin Hall.

The Grade I church is built in a mixture of styles from Norman to the 17th century.

St Owen's is in a privately owned park which once belonged to Bromham Hall but there has been a church on this site for at least 800 years and there are signs which indicate that there may have been an earlier Saxon building here.
