St Leonard's is the oldest building in Streatham, South London.

St Nicholas church was begun in 1087 and is believed to be the oldest church in Rutland.

Built of brick, it has the worship area on the upper floor, reached by a flight of six external stone steps, under a portico with a roof supported on stone pillars.

Trinity Church, as it is known locally, is a Grade 2 listed building, built in 1907 in the Gothic style and is a striking edifice in the centre of Sutton.

There has been a settlement in Sutton Valence since at least Roman times, and a church is recorded in the Domesday Book.
