Built in 1885 to the Glory of God.

St Joseph’s was founded as a Mission from nearby Cobridge in 1895 and in 1925 work started on the present church designed in the north Italian Lombardic or Romanesque style by the young architect JS Brocklesby.

In a remote part of northwest Buckinghamshire, this predominantly 13th century church stands almost alone, with only an old gabled stone house and farm buildings for company.

In French gothic/arts crafts style, designed by La Trobe who designed various secular buildings in central Bristol.

Delightful limestone church dating from the 13th century and quite possibly replacing a wooden Saxon church which existed on the site when the Domesday Book was written in 1086.

The church dates back to Saxon times and was largely rebuilt between 1864 and 1867, it features 12th century herringbone masonry on the south wall, rather unique in this part of the country.  

Here is a large town church that speaks of the 15th century. In 1483 Edward V, the husband of Elizabeth Woodville of nearby Grafton Regis, gave a large grant of stone from the royal quarries nearby in Whittlebury.

This Grade I church is mainly Perpendicular.
