In rolling countryside, two miles away from St Winnow, lies St Nectan’s chapel, being a chapel of ease which has been part of the parish since the 13th century.

Prominently positioned on the eastern approach to Wadebridge and close to the River Camel, this Grade I Listed church is set within an almost circular, walled, burial ground and framed by chestnut and other trees and flowering shrubs.

Almost of cathedral size, All Saints is often called the 'Cathedral of the Marshes' due to its size and scale.

St Hydroc is situated adjacent to Lanhydrock House, the major National Trust property in Cornwall and it contains the monuments and burials of the Estate families.

In the late 1200s the Archbishop of Canterbury established a college here for a master and six canons (priests), which accounts for the large size of this church, and also accounts for the timber framed houses opposite, which were where the master and his canons lived.

This little church has a Norman core, but was altered and extended in the 13th century.
