St Mary’s church building is striking, it has a square tower with a peal of six bells and dates back to the 12th century.

A church with a variety of notable architectural features from the 12th to the 20th centuries , with fine timber framed roof, ‘Grocer Pews’ linking with the Grocers’ Company local school now the present Elms School, and links with founder of the MU Mary Sumner married here.

Kinlet church no longer has a village around it, but stands in a rather remote location in the grounds of Kinlet Hall.

It is believed that the present building has its origins in 12th century but there was probably an earlier Anglo Saxon or even Celtic church, for the boundary of the original churchyard forms an almost perfect circle, a feature shared with many churches of known Celtic origin.

St Andrew’s looks much older than it is.

Built in 1862, our church is located on the eastern slopes of the Malvern Hill, many visitors come to our cemetery to pay their respects to Sir Edward Elgar who is buried there with other members of his family.

The priory was founded in the 12th century, but the Perpendicular features of the present church date from a 1480s rebuilding by Bishop Alcock of Worcester after he visited the priory to investigate its poor state.

Beautifully located rural church, opposite the village pub, with a separate 13th century tower, a 11th century rood screen and a 16th century chantry chapel.

Built in 1867 the building is one of Frederick Preedy's more unusual and elaborately detailed designs and the plan and decoration of the chancel are particularly noteworthy.

The Beacon Church Centre was built in 1928 with halls added in 1961 and a concourse in 2005.

St Stephen's church stands in the centre of this fine Victorian town, in a green space and spiritual presence in the middle of our busy lives.

Recorded in Doomsday book, St Leonard’s is one of the three oldest churches in Herefordshire.
