Find a church

There has been a church on the site of St John’s for over 140 years, witnessing to God’s love among the people of Upper Norwood.

The present St Mary’s was opened in 1895, but a medieval stone and tile in the porch are clues to the parish’s much longer story.

The tower alone is reason enough to visit this church, a distinctive landmark high in the Mendips.
