In the heart of the Somerset village of Nunney, within 200m of Nunney Castle, the village is at the east end of the Mendip Hills.

This is a small rural church with a great history and wonderful peaceful atmosphere.

Dates back to medieval times and stands on high ground beside Nynehead Court (once the family seat of the de Wyke and then Sanford families), from the church tower there are panoramic views of the Blackdown Hills to the south and the Brendan and Quantock hills to the north.

St Nicholas’ church, mainly 15th and 16th century, is possibly on an 8th century site (probably pre-Norman) with a 60ft tower built in the 14th century.
