Believed to be the oldest church in Worcester.

Worcester Cathedral has been described as possibly the most interesting of all England’s cathedrals, especially architecturally.

There has probably been a church on the site since 1100AD.

The church was built in 1855-56 as a chapel of ease to serve the miners of Thomas North’s colliery at Babbington.

Tiny, remote and very rural, the church here has a great treasure: a Norman tympanum showing the Lamb of God flanked by a griffin and a winged bull.

St Tysilio sits on the western side of the A483 about a half mile north of Four Crosses, tucked away behind a farm complex.

The foundation stone of this high Victorian church was laid in October 1882, it was designed by William Knight, the architect of St Andrew’s Church, Mansfield Road, Nottingham.

Much of this church was built during the 13th and 14th centuries; the tower was built in at least two distinct phases, with construction interrupted by the Black Death.

Often referred to as the Cathedral of the Wolds as it is the largest church building in south Nottinghamshire at over 140 foot long including the tower.

Set in a picturesque village, a Methodist Church built in 1922 to replace a Primitive Methodist Chapel founded in 1886.
