Welcome to the historic and beautiful Temple Church, built by the Knights Templar, the soldier monks who protected pilgrims to the Holy Land during the Crusades.

St Mary's is one of the Church of England's most historic parishes, today we're a church of different people, a community of all ages, living out our calling.

The church was rebuilt in the early 13th century, giving the village its present name, and consisting of an aisled nave, a central tower, and a chancel.

St Etheldreda’s is the oldest Catholic church in England and one of only two remaining buildings in London from the reign of Edward I.

A site of worship for at least 1000 years, but when the crypt was excavated Roman remains were found so the site could have been in use for much longer still.
