12th century church Grade I Listed for its rare display of post Reformation wall paintings, stained glass and monuments celebrating the genealogy of Samson Erdeswicke, Staffordshire historian who died in 1603.

Located in an attractive conservation area and arguably the most prominent of all the buildings, St John's was built between 1851 and 1853 and listed for its architectural and historic merits.

St Andrew's church is a partnership between the Church of England and Methodist Church.

The highlight of a visit is to the Sanctuary to view the fine triptych reredos with covered cornice and panels of saints and inscriptions recording incumbents and donors.
