Walk up Stone Street in Boxford. Turn right once you get to the Fox and Hounds Pub. Follow the road and the church gate is directly in front of you facing the green.
This simple, but well kept church was onetime the spiritual home of John Winthrop, Pilgrim Father and First Governor of Massachusetts. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely footpaths and walks. This together with St Mary's Boxford and St Mary the Virgin Edwardstone make to the Winthrop Trail in Box River.
