Aghadoweys 300 year history has at its centre worship and education, our members continue show care for each other and reach out to others.

The Meeting House is probably the oldest non-conformist place of worship anywhere.

The church was completed around 1181, with some rebuilding work was done in 1853.

Aldham church is sometimes referred to as the church that was moved.

Standing on high ground beside the thatched 14th century parsonage, the church dates to around 1370, a strangely late date for this part of Sussex.
