This session is designed for congregations new to historic church buildings, offering practical guidance to help you understand what’s involved and make informed, confident decisions from the outset.

This session highlights the importance of preventative maintenance and how a planned, proactive approach can help protect heritage, reduce long-term costs, and encourage shared responsibility. You will hear practical insights from our officers, drawing on decades of experience caring for historic church buildings.

Many churches rent out their church hall or church building for events, community activities and for local businesses to use. This can generate income for facility upkeep or community support. In this helpful, informal session, Hallmaster UK will share their experience of working with churches, chapels and meeting houses across the country. They will share some best practice and introduce the Hallmaster system.
