f you're worried about the impact of archaeology on your plans, or want to know more about how it can be a really positive element of any project; in this session we will introduce the importance of archaeology and how to make the most of working with an archaeologist. Delivered by Matthew Maries, an archaeologist with a master's degree in the Conservation of Historic Buildings and one of our Cherish church support officers.

Working alongside your existing team, new volunteers can bring fresh energy and potential. Churches, chapels and meeting houses often tell us that they struggle to recruit and retain new volunteers so we hope this session will help. This is a session designed to get us to think differently about attracting new volunteers and other forms of support.

Where do you start? Which grant should you apply for? What information do you need to provide? Help is on hand. This FREE workshop is the ideal session for anyone involved with a church, chapel or meeting house in the UK who wants to learn more about our grants.

And as more and more elements of our daily lives move online, it makes sense that your website is the first place potential members, worshippers, volunteers, supporters, visitors or event attendees look to find out more information about your church.

This session will explore ways of diversifying income sources whilst supporting the needs of communities. How can we make the most of the opportunities that could be there and do we see them? In a highly competitive funding environment, we cannot always solely rely on grants and donations.
