The tower is late Perpendicular and is home to the most fascinating painted clock with it many decorations and inscriptions. Inside the church, the clerestoried nave has carved ceiling bosses including eleven faces of Green Men. There is a fine Jacobean pulpit and medieval paintings on pillars and arches.

Of particular note is the lectern which was created by local craftsman, Jabez Good. He made it in memory of William George Tozer, a vicar who became the second Bishop of Central Africa.
