For over 1300 years Pershore Abbey has been a centre for Christian worship and life, from its early beginnings as a Saxon monastery to today.

St Johns Cathedral was built in 1882 to provide for the steadily increasing number of Catholics living in Portsmouth and currently over 1000 attend mass on Sundays.

Dating mainly from the 1190s, Warnford church has an earlier tower and Saxon roots. The first church on the site may have been built by St Wilfrid in the 680s.
