Sit, reflect and pray as you watch the light filtering through the stunning medieval stained glass, dappling the interior of the church with an atmosphere you'll find it hard to forget.

Dating back to the Norman Conquest, our church has one of the oldest examples of a medieval stained glass window in the country, dating back to the year circa 1320.

St Mary's was built almost entirely in the early 14th century, at the same time as Sir John de Broughton was building the adjacent castle.
