The Church was built in 1857 as the town of Pitlochry grew.

Holy Trinity is in the centre of the village, opposite The Sun Inn, next to the school and village pond.

The Memorial Baptist Church building was opened in 1922 to house the church and its welfare work.

St Mark's was built in a unique neoclassical style. It was one of the first Episcopal churches constructed in the Edinburgh Diocese after the repressions of the Penal Laws that followed the Jacobite risings in the 18th century.

A church which is open to everyone in the local community, regardless of previous determinations.

Acton Parish Church, Church of Ireland, Poyntzpass received £4,000 of funding from the National Churches Trust. This is as part of the Treasure Ireland project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Pilgrim Trust and the Department for Communities.
