A wonderful juxtaposition of medieval England and the advance of 19th century technology.

The church was built in 1747, with later work in the 19th century.

Holy Trinity is a delightful rural church in the heart of the village conservation area with a wonderful lychgate and stone cross in the church grounds as well as memorials to the Rawnsley family from Raithby Hall.

Originally built by the Champaine family in the 12th century.

St Stephen's is a cruciform building, built in 1873, in the Early English style of architecture and has interesting internal architectural features and stained glass; a beautiful and peaceful place of worship within a small village community.

The present church was built in red brick with greenstone and slate in 1857 by Maugham and Fowler and replaced the original chalk and thatch building.

Strikingly situated at the highest point of the village, the fine tower of St Leonard's displays large and impressive gargoyles.

All Saints stands in the grounds of Brocklesby Park, home to the Earls of Yarborough, whose family name is Pelham.

With its stone tower and spire, and windows of the Decorated period, from the outside Appleby Magna looks every inch a medieval church, which is what it is, and an excellent example of its kind.
