The old parish church for Bramcote was a small chapel which had stood since at least 1246.

An interesting example of a 1950s church, one of many built by Birmingham diocese to cater for the needs of the people living in the outer ring of the city which was expanding rapidly at the time.

St Peter’s (in St Peter’s Square, next to M&S) is an ancient building with several contemporary features, where you will find a remarkable oasis of peace and tranquillity at the heart of Nottingham’s busy life.

The church was built in the Decorated style in1864/65, by WJ Hopkins.

Sandwiched between the M25 and the A1M is the comparatively calm oasis of South Mimms (or Mymms) and its medieval flint church.

St Katharine's is a lovely Grade II* listed church building with some historical stained glass windows, a Savage Brass and excavated Stone Crucifix.
