The church at the heart of the town: every year, thousands of people visit our beautiful church.

We are an enthusiastic community of people, who are constantly learning what it means to love the Lord and to share His love with the world around us.

In a picturesque setting, the Grade I listed parish church is located on a steep bluff in the centre of the village at the end of a cobbled stone walk.

This church is a striking example of Edwardian church architecture, preserved beautifully both inside and out.

The church of Our Lady of Good Aid, Motherwell, designed in the Gothic revival style by the celebrated architects Pugin & Pugin, was opened in 1900.

St Michael & All Angels was built in 1835 and donated as ‘a gift to the people of the place’ by the Lord of the Manor, Sir Thomas Dyke Acland.
