Our church in the woods.

Dating from 1843 the Aberfeldy Parish Church is not only the principal Christian centre, but a busy community hub and landmark building in the small town of Aberfeldy.

Situated on the main road from Enniskillen to Belleek, on route to the Wild Atlantic Way.

Standing on an ancient Christian site, the current church was built in 1900-02 to designs blending Scottish vernacular with the newly fashionable Arts and Crafts style.

St Gwinear’s battlemented granite tower with its square stair turret can be accurately dated to 1441, when a bequest was made to build it.

When the tide is favourable you can easily cross The Strand to Oronsay and walk the two and a half miles to the farm and Priory.

In a tranquil setting in a green glen and close to the rushing River Esk, Cortachy Church is close to the gates of the castle, to which it belongs.

Above the porch door is a chiro stone lozenge found on site in the 1860s which dates from 350-400AD, the Christian faith has been here for more than 1600 years!

This ancient church has many unusual features. Perhaps most intriguing is the rare, 11th century conical tower.

The 'Fishermen's Chapel' with a story bound up in the life of this community is a great example of a Cornish Methodist Church with a unique history.

Wendron parish church is a Grade I listed 15th century church restored in 1867-9.

St Elwyn is located next to the estuary of Hayle near to three miles of golden sand and it has an imposing presence above the town.
