It is a place for spiritual refreshment and a visit is an opportunity to just sit and reflect before looking at points of interest, using the guide book or taking part in the treasure hunt or quiz. The church forms one of the venues on the Mining Villages Trail so you could enjoy a walk as well as visiting this beautiful church. Our church is open every day so please come in and enjoy the holy atmosphere and look at the points of historic interest.

There have been various restorations undertaken over the centuries and this century has seen further work being carried out to the tower. We also have modern additions to feast your eyes on such as the beautiful long banners made by the Sunday School and the tapestry made by the WI.

Prayer cards are placed at various places in the church. There is a leaflet guide to use as you walk around the church and there is a treasure hunt and quiz sheets for children. We are one of the Eight Saint Cluster so you may wish to visit the other churches whilst in the area.

We are a small but active church and will give you a very warm welcome.
