Find a church

Set in a position of rural tranquillity next to the village pond, there has been a church on the site since at least the 11th century.

All Saints is an active 12th century church with some earlier elements including rare 11th century Ironwork depicting Norse mythology. It stands at the highest point of the village of Staplehurst.

Known as the 'cathedral of the back streets,' the church is famous for its magnificent stained glass windows; by William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones, Ford Madox-Brown, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Philip Webb, Kempe and Tower.

St Bartholomew's is one of the tallest parish churches in Europe and was completed in 1874.

St Peter's was founded as a chapel of ease associated with Brighton's oldest church and its existing parish church, St Nicholas.

Limekilns church is situated in the centre of a historic Scottish seaside village and former busy port.

One of the glories of the church is a complete series of stained glass windows designed by AWN Pugin.

Brighton Unitarian Church is the centrepiece of the city's Cultural Quarter and is intricately interwoven with the story of the Prince Regent (later George IV) from whom the land on which the church was built was purchased.

Our church is an attractive modern building offering facilities which are much used and appreciated by the local community, it houses the Christ Church Embroidery of interest to visitors.
