Holy Trinity is a beautiful early Victorian stone church, set on a hilltop with glorious views over the Firth of Clyde.

It is a finely proportioned gem of Gothic Revival architecture, with chancel, nave, and narthex surmounted by a neat tower rising above the east end, balanced by an arched pinnacle surmounting the west end of the roof of the nave. The interior is graced by nine stained glass windows, illuminating an open interior in which the pews leave plenty of open space.

The quiet churchyard extends around three sides of the church, and is lined by mature trees. The newly resurfaced drive up to the church curves round a sloping lawn, so that the approaching visitor is rewarded by an open view of the church building
