This humble church is dedicated to St Edith of Wilton, the daughter of King Edgar.

This beautiful church, consecrated on 5th May 1863, is a fine example of the work of Victorian Louth Architect James Fowler.

The church contains several interesting memorials to the Alington family, of nearby Swinhope Hall, who for many generations have been associated with the parish.

A Victorian grade II listed building built in 1842; with pews, decorative ceiling rose and organ with pump handle.

St Clement's is the most distinctive of all the Burnham churches with its large, square, Norman tower and chancel and nave at either side.

On the lanes just south of Shelton, Hardwick's little church is a contrast to its elegant neighbour.
