Welcome to the church of St Dyfrig, home of the Catholic community of Pontypridd and Treforest since 1927 and designed in the mock Byzantine style.

On the 6th October 2019 our chapel celebrates 150 years continuous worship.

This Grade 1 church is noted for its late 13th century Decorated work, described by Betjeman as an architectural gem.

Castle Square is a small church set in a village which has now been almost taken over by the University of South Wales which is just up the road from the church.

The church is over 100 years old.

The Church of the Holy Cross has an intimate and ageless atmosphere.

This Grade I church has a Norman south doorway and font.

The church dates back to Saxon times and was largely rebuilt between 1864 and 1867, it features 12th century herringbone masonry on the south wall, rather unique in this part of the country.  

This 'Church in the Park' has it all, from forged Tudor effigies, a hidden wedding ring for use in emergencies, to the only known example of a memorial by a reigning English monarch to a subject

The most memorable feature of the outside of the church is the square tower with its massive buttresses.
