Welcome to our church of St Columba & St Kentigem. It may not be what you are used to seeing in this country, because our community belongs to the Eastern Orthodox Church.

On the western edge of the village below RAF Scampton, where the Dambuster raids were flown from and now home to the Red Arrows; there is an RAF chapel in the church with Squadron badges and there are several Commonwealth War Graves in the churchyard.

Davidstow means David's Place and according to legend the church was founded by St David in the 6th century, whilst visiting his mother at nearby Altarnun.

This tiny chapel may well have been built as a chantry chapel in memory of Robert de Tattershall who died in 1212 and whose effigy it is thought to be, lies beside the altar.

St John's is a grade II listed church built in 1866. It has a beautiful calm interior with a hammer beam wooden intricately carved ceiling and fascinating modern stained glass windows, including one of John Wesley preaching in the market place.

Victorian gothic church, designed by a Benjamin Ferrey, a pupil and biographer of Augustus Pugin.

Reached along a lane that gradually leaves the trappings of the 21st century behind, this church is on a spit of land between two fenland drains that enter the Great Ouse about half a mile away.

The church is a Grade II listed building and the people of Barnsley have worshipped here for over 100 years.

St Helen's dates from 12th century, with the north aisle added in 1380, between the choir and the north aisle is a mediaeval tomb to Sir Roger Trehampton, one of the Knights Templar.
